Video play error

I have Oppo A79k and recently i cant play a single video from my storge. I can watch videos on youtube, facebook, etc. but the ones that i have on my phone cant be started. On all of them i get play error message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The simplest fix is to restart (turn off and back on) the phone. Should that not work, then I would ask through what app are you trying to play them? The app itself may be the problem.
