1:26 the A button got stuck. 😛

Even if this works, it takes way too long to register on the screen for it to be a decent play, and the controls might be a little challenging. Otherwise, good job on the mod, I don't have any idea how to make that work.

That quarter second latency really stands out in the demonstration.

Fantastic job to get it working though on their part.

I can some sports games being really fun with this technology.

Well...at least we know what selling point next-Gen consoles will have. Prior to seeing quality immersion (which this demo is forerunner for), I really couldn't figure out why anyone would want the next Xbox or PS4.

Once they figure out clear signals for controls and cut lag to 1/100th a second, gaming will become a lot more fun than it used to be: especially if they can get it to detect where your hand points well enough to play CoD.

too much effort to enjoy the game. sorry. but great programming and modding work.

Ok, that is impressive. Sure its not really playable, but this is what one guy did in a week or so at home.

@Haserath:

Negative, much?

It doesn't matter if it lags now, it works and if it works we can make it better!

These open-source Kinect projects are what truly brings value to the device, I think. Who knows, if it gets more advanced enough I might consider buying one.
