Why would they dualboot Windows 7 and only Android 1.6? both of the other tablets are running 2.2 so what's the excuse? all i see nowdays is windows 7 + android 1.6..

Too small to be a tablet and not enough features to be a phone. This is a touch screen PDA with android software.

erm...upcoming viewpad 10? I can already order them from the supplier where I work, probably getting one after I fix my car :S

The viewpad 10 I believe does come with android 2.1 or 2.2, check the android x86 project for updates for it

Let's see, a 4.1" phone with a 1GHz ARM CPU, a 7" tablet with only a 600MHz ARM CPU, both with Android 2.2. A 10" tablet with an Atom dual booting Win7 and Android 1.6. All called the ViewPad. While you should get binary compatibility between the 4" and 7" models, it makes no sense that the 7" has a significantly slower CPU. The 10" will have no binary compatibility with it's little siblings.

What are the marketing people at ViewSonic smoking? This will cause endless confusion in app compatibility for software vendors and users. Stop smoking whatever it is you're smoking and at least rename the 10" model something other than ViewPad.
