If you get on the PCS internet and surf or check email, can a virus, worm,
etc. infect a PCS cell phone?
I'm guessing no at this time. I don't know if the OS of the cell phone is at
risk.
Anyone know for sure?

There have been some reports of cell phones hit by viruses, but only phones
that run SymbianOS. Sprint phones run Java 2 Movile Edition and there are (as
far as I know) no exploits for Java-enabled phones yet.
