Hello,

Has anyone hear heard much about any preventive measures that VZW has taken
to keep viruses out of their network and their phones?

Any thoughts, rumors, links, opinions, would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Well... as soon as the very first virus is created that effects VZW phones
they will probably work on preventive measures. Currently there is
no need to put preventive measures in place for something that doesn't
exist.

....oh...wait... now that you mention it... Killer Madness could very
well be a virus.

A while back I did read an article that they had successfully created a
virus to infect cell phones - via Bluetooth. This was a test and only ran
down the battery by constantly searching for bluetooth devices to infect.
As far as I know there are no strains of the virus which have actually been
released.
