Question Virus spam opens https://error tabs

every about 15 minutes or so, chrome would spam open new tabs with httpserror in the URL bar. and would keep doing it for about 2 minutes, I uninstalled chrome, have cleared all my cache, tried a few antiviruses and malwarebytes, and now with chrome uninstalled, it will spam open the tab that asks how i would like to open it, and it lists the options of edge, chrome or look for an app in the windows store, please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

none. I dont recall installing anything before this. It started happening while I was in a video game.

Had the game been installed well before this started happening?

Have you used an application like CCleaner to clean all of your temp files/history to rule errant cookies and crud from your browsers?

yes, the game has been installed for over 2 years.

and yes, I have tried erasing all my cache and cookies from the browsers.

I tried using HiJackThis but it gave me names of processes and I am not extremely knowledgeable towards the in depth parts of a PC.
