Vizio with no sound through HDMI

I've got a 55" LCD vizio, Sound works when its going though the DVD player with the RCA jacks, but no sound when coming though the cable box via an HDMI cable

What is the selected sound input on the TV?

the U-verse box doesn't have any settings that i can find other then stereo or surround sound

TV options are speakers on or off
