Solved! Voicemeeter banana caused issues

My friend's laptop was working fine until I convinced him to download voicemeeter. The drive is now at 100%, they're audio drivers which shouldn't have caused it and are unistalled now. He has been trying different solutions without any results.

Have you tried running good deep antivirus and also anti-malware scans of the computer? I would also suggest going into "System Restore" and restoring the laptop to a point prior to that installation.
