Want a Program to split Large Mpeg

Hi

I have 3 Parts of a Movie totalling 2.4Gb.
The parts are 800Mb each.
I was hoping to Burn them'but they are too large.
So what i was thinkng is taking the Complete film and splitting it into 4 parts of 600Mb each to burn onto 4 CD's.This means if anything ever goes wrong with my system or i have to reformat i can just Take the 4 Mpegs of their CD's and join them up agin to make the Film Complete.

So my question is what can i use to Cut the 2.4Gb Film into 4 portions for burning?

Go to <A HREF="http/www.doom9.net" target="_new">http/www.doom9.net</A> and download Virtual Dub or Nandub. Go to the the guides to learn how to use them. VD/ND will not open all versions of MPEG, do you know what kind of mpeg you have? I would be tempted to recode to divx and get that movie on one or two disks.

The person who made the movie musta had 800MB cdrs. I was thinking whoever chopped the movie into 800MB chunks was a moron but they mighta had 800M disks.

Look for a program called Mastersplitter - you can split and join any way you like. It's shareware so you'll find it easy.

Premeire is also a good investment. Especially if you have a college kid buy it for you. Well worth the $15.
