Want to use LG-cd player with normal music center without computer

I have a spare LG-cd player to be used with PC. I want to know whether
I can build it as a component for normal cd-player.
What other component will be needed to assemble the cd-player which
can be used with my tv and music center?

They really aren't designed for that. Power, input/output, software...all a barrier to your idea.

I've use one in an external drive box which has phono outputs which can connect to a hifi.

Quite useful as it will play CDs burned onto rewritable CDRW, unlike most hifi players.

BUT the drive must have two front buttons -- one opens drawer other starts CD playing and selects tracks.
