G Guest Guest Dec 2, 2009 #3 I've use one in an external drive box which has phono outputs which can connect to a hifi. Quite useful as it will play CDs burned onto rewritable CDRW, unlike most hifi players. BUT the drive must have two front buttons -- one opens drawer other starts CD playing and selects tracks.
