water in my camera

I asked someone to take a photo of me in the kayak and he put my camera for a short moment into water. After cleaning, I put rice and the camera i a bag of plastic.
I tuck the battery out /off....
any other ideas?

Using a hair dryer works sometimes, just not on the hottest setting. I have dried out a cell phone, 3 watches and seen someone dry a webcam this way before.
