Weird Sony Cybershot camera issue

My camera has been taking weird pictures on dark scenes(looks okay when focused but when you take the picture it looks Contrasty?)

Set your sony cybershot camera to 'P' (Program auto), and press 'Menu', then select 'Color Mode' and choose the effects which you want

My Camera has P mode but I don't have effects,also even in other modes the pictures are always overexposed or contrasty like pictured above

Try shooting in the Manual (M) mode, you have even more flexibility for correcting white, overexposed images. Try doing one or more of the following -
1 Use a lower ISO setting like 100 or 200
2 Increase the shutter speed
3 Close the aperture of the lens by using a higher f-stop number
