My mother is getting a job that requires a new PC (as she's has an old laptop) and headphones w/ mic. Over ear or on ear would work best, but in ear are okay if nothing else is good. They should be in the $30-$40 range and have decent sound quality and decent mic. The major thing is though, they have to have 1 3.5mm output. They have to connect to her phone, not the PC (I know, weird). Or if you can recommend some usb or dual 3.5mm with an adapter or something, that'd be great. Thank you!

It is a bit tricky because typically, business headphones are pretty expensive considering what you get. Keeping this in mind, have a look at a Hyperx Cloud Core. It is a gaming headset but it is fairly low-key, decent sound isolation and has a 4 pole 3.5mm connector:

Otherwise, you could always go for a generic Logitech business headset (ie Logitech VOIP Headphones) which usually have a mic and look quite professional.
