What do I do with a DIZ file?

Hey experts- I got a quick question. I downloaded a file from the internet that is supposedly an application file. It downloaded as a .exe file, and I installed it. It then extracted into a bunch of different files including a .diz file. The .diz file is called the same as the application should be. If I open the .diz file in NotePad, it just shows a bunch of gibberish. Is there any way to open this file as an application? Or should I just delete it? Thanks for the help.

Question is what did you download. I hope you have a good antivirus and antimalware software.
