What is the maximum temperature of the Xeon E5 2687W?

Hi. On Intel's site

it says that the maximum 'T-case' temperature is 67 degrees C for the Xeon E5 2687W, is that really the maximum temperature for this cpu as it seems extremely low and will a coolermaster hyper 212x be sufficient for cooling this CPU?

That is Intel's max safe core temp, yes. But peaks above that aren't a problem. And yes, the 212x is more than enough to cool it. Were you experiencing higher than Intel's max temps regularly?
