No not really. You'd be better off going with a 4 core instead of 2 core if you are looking to do video editing, even if it is an i5 or even i3. The higher the GHz you can get the better also, 3.1 isn't bad as overclocking is usually an option.

*NOTE* You could go with something with more cores but 4 is the normal amount especially if you're on a budget.
