what is the reason of showing unable to connect to proxy server in google chrome

i have changed proxy settings..bt still it doesnt work..it show in chrome unable to conect to proxy server when i connect network

Do you connect to the internet through a proxy server?

If you don't, that's the reason for the error if you've set up your LAN to connect to a non-existent proxy.

You need to untick the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" then click okay, here:

Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections (tab) > LAN Settings

or Try what I did, after installing Addblock plus I got the same error, so checking the setting for the extension I found × Enabled EasyPrivacy I unchecked and it works fine after restarting the browser.
