What memory to get for Dell E5520

Hello,
I just bought a Dell E5520 and wanted to upgrade my memory to 8 GB (I know have 2GB).

I'm not sure what kind of memory is compatible for it.

All the spec sheet says is:
DDR3 SDRAM (1333 MHz) 2 slots supporting 1G, 2G or 4GB DIMMs


So do I need 2 x 4 GB memory sticks? 1 of 8GB?
I saw the term SO-DIMM but not sure what it is.

If anyone can make sense for me of all this I would be grateful.

max is 8GB of memory (4GB per slot)

Another question:

Since I already got 2GB of memory - should I just add another 4gb for a total of 6? Is it even possible to combine?

If I can combine which memory do I need? 10600? 1333?

Hynix Semiconductor (Hyundai Electronics) HMT325S6CFR8C-H9, ser
1.5V, Clk: 666.7MHz, Timings 9-9-9-24 (@ Max. freq.)

if you like to keep your current memory you need to get a 10600

4GB 1.5V, Clk: 666.7MHz, Timings 9-9-9-24 should work

yep that should usually work
