What type if any roku sticks will work with an older Samsung 720 HD tv? I’ve never had a problem with my chromecast.

If the TV has HDMI then any Roku will work. If the TV doesn't have HDMI you can get an HDMI to component video/audio converter. That will get you HD. The Express+, that has AV outputs, will work on any TV but you won't get HD.

My tv does have hdmi and after looking back through some old Amazon orders I guess I tried the 3600R in 2016, however had issues and returned. I wanted something so I can watch my Amazon prime on TV, but am wondering if it’s a Samsung compatability issue. As I said, I have no issues with chromecast.
