So I've been looking for a while to buy a new ultrabook. However I don't really want to buy the really high end models.

So I'm placing my budget as $850.

As far as today's deals go, I've seen the Huawei Matebook X going for $800 on amazon and the macbook air (I know it's kind of dated, but it's thin, light and well built, which are the main qualities I'm going for) for $800 as well at Best Buy.

For $700, there's the Asus Zenbook UX330UA going for $700 at amazon, but it is it's normal price.

Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards the Huawei, but as it's not a really big brand here at the US, so I'm a little concerned about reliability

I ordered a lenovo ideapad 720s 14" ultrabook. Mine came to around $1100 CAD so probably about $900 usd.

Has 8th gen i7, mx150 gpu (better than huaweis 940mx by 30%) slim form factor due to its narrow bezel, and resembles a macbook cause of its aluminum chassis.

There's also the Acer Swift 3 with i5-8250u, and the MX150 gpu and 14" screen but not quite as slim as the Lenovo.
