When I adjust my laptop screen it goes black

So I have a Asus laptop and I have had it for a while but about a week ago the screen would go almost completely black too the point I can’t see my screen unless the lighting in the room is just right(still I can only make out the whitest parts of the screen) this would happen when I move the screen to adjust it. The only thing I could do was shut it down, but as of today shutting it down restarting it etc. it won’t return to normal and I can’t see anything on the screen, if this is a replaceable thing please let me know a price range. Thanks

Seems like the power connector might be loose. Get it serviced by a professional, there isn't much you can do yourself.
