When i shut down laptop the power goes off but the lights across top are staying

Hello,i've tried shutting down & re-starting a few times but lights still staying on

What lights are still on? Try taking out the battery.

also, make sure the dropdown bar under the shutdown menu is set to shut down, not hibernate or sleep.

all fixed i took out the battery
