when I try to open google chrome it now goes to SEARCH, mycurrentnewsexp. What is that? Why won't it go to google.com any mo

search.mycurentnewsxp.com This is what appears in the address bar when I click on my Google Chrome icon using my MacBook Air. Why won't it go to google.com anymore? I'm frustrated. Anyone know what to do, how I can make it go to google.com again?

Have you scanned for viruses and malware? Contrary to popular belief Mac can get infected. Have you tried resetting Chrome to it's defaults? Have you tried looking under Settings and then On Startup (Open a specific page or set of pages) to see if the site is listed there? Have you checked to see what extensions are enabled?
