When i turn my laptop on it say preparing automatic repair, the screen goes blank . Please advise

I have a toshiba L50. When i power it up it tells me its preparing automatic repair, then goes blank and nothing happens. Any advice?

there is something wrong with your Windows installation. that might be a pure SW issue or HW issue like faulty hard drive.
you can check the drive with tools installed on external USB drive or reinstall the windows.
