When pressing f2 to go to setup for discette error my computer does nothing. Dell vista

When pressing f2 my computer stays on the error screen

You need to press that key before you see any screen at all. Power down and tap F2 as soon as you turn it back on. If any other screen than BIOS, F2 isn't the right key so try Escape or Delete.
