When resetting your Tablet so it will connect to the internet and it ask you to enter password what password are they talking

My samsung galaxy tab says it's connected to the WiFi but it won't connect to the internet.I read that resetting it may work so I did and a message comes up to put my password in. So I did and it says wrong password but it's the only password I have for my WiFi.
