Where do I find the app drawe to get my camera icon restored

Cannot find my camera icon on google home screen on android tablet.

Tap and 'hold' the background on your home screen. Where there aren't any icons. It should bring up an overlay screen that shows icons and other things you can add. The camera icon should be in there.
