Which ASUS laptop to buy?

I need a new 17-inch laptop, mainly for text & image-editing work (not gaming). It will need a top-class display, decent keyboard and a good touchpad (I don't use a mouse).

I like the look of the ASUS N751 but have a couple of questions.

1. Will it satisfy the above requirements?

2. ASUS announced the N752 last November. Does anyone know when it will be available? It seems to have some advantages over the N751. SHould I therefore wait?

BTW, what are the main differences between the different ASUS laptop series (e.g. N series versus X series)?
