Over the Core i3-4005u is the more powerful CPU even though it only has 2 cores. Intel CPUs are designed in such a way that they process a lot more instructions than AMD APUs and CPUs can; AMD's APUs are weaker than AMD's CPUs in this regard. That is even taking into consideration that the A8 APU has 4 cores.

The Radeon R5 graphics core in the A8-6410 is almost as powerful as the Intel HD 4200 graphics core. That means it is less powerful than the Intel HD 4400 that is integrated into the Core i3-4005u.

which graphic card is better nvidia 820m or r5 m230.
also i read somewhere that amd apus and graphic cards together give good graphic performance through the programme amd catalyst.fnally what do u suggest i shud buy

Oh I missed the graphic chips. The R5 m230 is a little slower than 820m so I guess the R5 m230 together with the integrated graphics core will perform at least as well as the 820m.
