Hello,
in 2nd gen intel is speaking about better graphic performance how about speed of processor?.
If there is a config with 1st gen with Dedicated graphic and 2nd gen with intel HD Graphic 3000 which one to be selected?

i3 2100 2nd gen beat 1st gen i3 540 2nd gen is much better in everything fom 1st gen

depends on the full configurations of 1st get core i3 and 2nd gen core i3.
for example, if the dedicated gfx in the 1st gen i3 is weaker than the igp of 2nd gen core i3 then the 2nd gen core i3 build is better in terms of graphics.
core i3 540 vs core i3 2100.
