I planning to buy a new notebook soon and I want to know which is the best for gaming and photo editing.

Asus N550JK:
Intel Core i7-4700HQ
GTX 850M
"15.6 1920x1080 Full HD LED
8GB RAM DDR3
750GB 7200RPM

Lenovo IdeaPad Y50:
i7-4710HQ
GTX 860M 4GB
15.6 FHD LED Backlight (1920x1080)
8GB DDR3L 1600MHz
Hybrid 1TB (5400RPM) Sata + SSHD 8GB

Lenovo Y50 UHD 4k:
i7-4710HQ
GTX 860M 4GB
15.6'' UHD 4K IPS LED Backlight (3840 x 2160)
16GB DDR3L 1600MHz
Hybrid 1TB (5400RPM) Sata + SSHD 8GB

So which is the best and why? they are in the same price.
I think 4k resolution is good for photo editing. What do you think?
Thanks guys.

You shouldn't even have to think twice. The Lenovo Y50 UHD 4k is the best of those three laptops mainly because of its screen resolution which would be ideal for editing. Its 16 GB RAM will also set it apart in editing especially if you are doing high end editing and rendering. If it was just gaming alone, then 8 GB would be more than enough, but editing might take more >> so definitely, that 16 GB VS the 8 GB in the other laptops, sets it apart by far.
Putting the comparison aside now:
The Lenovo Y50 UHD 4k laptop will do a great job for you in editing and gaming. Apart from its Resolution; it has a great graphics card (the gtx 860 m 4gb) in addition to the i7-4710HQ procesor which is very good for editing and gaming, plus 16 massive...

The Lenovo Y50 UHD 4k is easily the best one because of the 4k IPS screen (great for photo editing). The other two have less memory and the Asus is also all around weaker.

@Armo1000: You can just downscale games to 1080p and the performance will be exactly the same as it would be with a 1080p screen.

Enjoy Gaming and editing; you should have a wonderful experience.
