Which laptop is better?

hi guys

as in my title , i need help on which laptop to pick? i love gaming but also need it for campus...but more on the gaming side.

the 2 laptops are:

Asus N550JK i5 dual core 4200h 2.8 ghz with tb to 3.4, 8 gigs ram and nvidia gtx 850m 2 gig

vs

Toshiba L50-A0383 i7 quad core 4700MQ 2.4Ghz with tb to 3.4, 8 gigs ram and nvida gt 740m 2 gig

they both are around my budget but im indecisive when it comes to the core

If more on gaming, choose the one with the fastest GPU, that being the one with the GTX 850M.

The i5-4200H won't be a problem.

Video rendering, the Toshiba will be the best choice. Gaming, the ASUS is the go-to choice.
