Which laptop is worth the $400 in terms of battery life and performance

So I am looking for a new laptop and I am split between 2 laptops from best buy.

Which one is the better buy? I am looking for something that won't get too hot and I can do some light, lightroom editing on

I already have my own built machine but I'm just looking for smt cheap for school

Your PC looks like it needs an upgrade soon though....very old.

TBH i'm probably gonna throw a rx 480 in and be done with my desktop because my brother only really plays csgo so the setup i have right now is fine
