Which laptop should I buy for around $900 (among these)?

Among these two I know ASUS seems better. But I am really worried about battery backup too. ASUS doesnt look that attractive from its images. Not that it matters too much, but just wanted my 1st laptop to have better appearance. I would greatly appreciate, if someone could suggest me any other similar alternative. I can work on as small as 13" and my budget is $900. The GPU should atleast be equivalent to above mentioned GT 630M.


Also there is one thing with ASUS that it comes with DOS (no OS).

Has any one used one of similar laptops?? how is the performance? Thanks in advance
