I am a first year btech engineering student from electronics and communication branch. I need a laptop for study purpose. I am also a gamer,so I also want to do casual gaming in it.My budget is a bit low, under inr 60000. Which laptop is the best for me? I have main confusion between HP Pavilion 15-au003tx and
HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba075tx.The first has better specs like 8gb ram but is not convertible and has 6th gen processor.the later is convertible and has 7gen i3, but has only 4 gb ram. Both have almost same price and gpu. Which should I choose? If any other r good pls suggest them as well.

Only has a 768p display, but the other specs look good.

But it's above 60000.also it's not convertible. We'll do know that can I upgrade ram of the 4gb one I said?

59990 is above 60000? Maybe my math skills are lacking. ;) One of the two laptops in your original post wasn't convertible either. You didn't list that as a requirement. As for the 4gb of RAM in the convertible one you mentioned, it can supposedly be upgraded to as much as 12GB of RAM.

It's that price on Flipkart. I am buying from official site bcos most laptops there come with Ms office. Also the one on Flipkart can me refurbished and used earlier.

Also pls tell me which ram should I use for upgrade? And do the service centres do the upgrade if we give it to them. Bcos if I do it manually something goes wrong warranty will be forfeited.

Fair enough. Didn't know that. :D For what it's worth, I like that convertible you're considering (not that my opinion means anything).
