which laptop to buy??

Hi

i am planing to buy a laptop. i am confused with hp pavilion g6-2313ax. it has prety good specs but since its amd (amd a10 4600m), i am not sure about the performance compared to i5 3rd gen processors...is it a good choice... i am not a hardcore gamer.. i mainly watch movies(hd),use photoshop,programming and a little gaming also...

i also have in mind dell inspiron 15r 5521 which has an i5 3337u chip and a 1gb ati radeon 8730m ....the clock speed is less compared to amd a10 4600m but i heard when it comes to overall performance 3337u beats a10... is it true....pls help me out in this....and hows the display in dell ??

whats your budget? please dont buy hp... Dell isn't the greatest either. I have owned an hp, it had some serious problems after a year and a half-two years. But Dells seem to be a little better. I have an ASUS I really like that I didn't have to spend a fortune on.

The AMD processor is weaker, but not by much. You shouldn't notice an actual difference, considering the intended use.

When it comes to processors, clock speeds aren't everything. Their cache sizes, core count and several other factors must be taken into account, and some may perform better than others depending on whether the applications you're running are optimized for multiple threads or not. It is best to check benchmark charts and real performance comparisons.

I would also reccomend you go for anything other than Dell if you can.

My budget is 45k . . . Can u suggest me any other laptops....i mainly need an i5 3rd gen ,4gb RAM ,an ati grpx card ......

Actually on lookin at the clock speed i thot amd a10 was bettr than i5 3337u...but wen i saw sum benchmarks i came to know 3337u is bttr rathr than hving low clock speed.... I was bit confused altogether.... :-(
And i can get a 3210M or 3230m under 45k.... So which shud i choose... Pls help... Can u possibly suggest a few laps... My needs area mainly a good procsr i5 3rd gen.... 4gb RAM, an ati grpx card.... How abt samsung??

I dont think i can get a sony vaio in this price range.. With al these specs.. Also i heard sum say that ther are some probs with sony laptops... I don know... Is it so???
