Which laptop to buy

I want to buy a new laptop but am confused from HP R-005tx or HP R-014tu ! Both have almost same featured just the difference is that ! HP R-005tx has i3 (4th gen) and the latter one has i5(4th gen) and HP R-005tx has NVIDIA 820 m graphics card and the latter one has just Intel HD 4400 graphics card! WHich one should i prefer?

Do you want to game? the discrete graphics and i5 CPU is better for gaming and probably worse for battery life. Also check the screen resolutions on the two models.

I'd stay away from HP they get really hot and loud, I have an hp dv6 i5 (3rd gen), and even after I cleaned it and re-applied the thermal paste, still gets hot, HP laptops have really bad airflow management.

Actually yes I want to game too! But I am afraid whether going for i3 over i5 or not? Like will it not affect the performance? Like speed and stuffs? I am not much into all these so I dont know much. Hope you can help me out.

The i3 and a discrete graphics card will be better balanced than an i5 and integrated graphics - the integrated graphics really aren't suitable for anything but the lowest level of games. i3 processors ar on a par with the majority of the AMD range.

Get the i3 and discrete graphics card if gaming is the priority. Otherwise get the i5 as it will give you enough performance for simple tasks
