which model of laptop is very reliable?

i have had asus and apple laptops. the asus laptops were junk and my apple is still working but sound cuts out and it lags from time to time. my toahiba satellite laptop was pure trash as well. which model of laptop is the most reliable in your experience, based on studies, or based on the way it's built. thanks

I have found the Lenovo Thinkpads to be extremely well built and durable. They were known as being some of the best laptops around back when IBM owned them. The build quality hasn't really changed since Lenovo purchased the PC division from IBM.
