Which MSI laptop to go with...?

Hey guys,

Just wondering which would generally be the better option out of these two. Only real difference I can spot is that one has an optical drive and the other doesn't, but I'm not particularly tech-savvy so I just basically wanted to know if there were any real big differences between these.

The Mobile GTX1060 are much better than GTX970m

While the 1060 is much better performing than the 970m, the costs are stupid in the UK at the moment, so not really worth considering.
They are more or less the same, although the Apache will feature better cooling due to its thicker design.
Up to you whether you want that significantly heavier form factor though.
The only difference spec wise is that the Apache features a DVD drive, which the Ghost Pro Gaming does not have. It will also have a very slightly larger battery I suspect.
I recommend getting the Ghost Pro Gaming personally, but if you need any of the above mentioned features, are willing to pay a little more and can deal with that large form factor, go for it.

And yeah, I know there's better than the 970M available right now, originally I was gonna go for a 980M but I can't even do that due to the price. No way can I even consider anything above that for a second. 970M will almost definitely be good enough for me for the time being anyway.
