1) ASUS ZenBook UX330UA-AH5Q 13.3-inch QHD+:
link:http://
Got: i5-7200U, 256GB SSD, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 3200x1800 display, Fingerprint, backlight

OR

2) Acer Aspire S 13 Touch
link:http://
Got: i7-7500U, 256GB SSD, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1920x1080 display,
fingerprint, blaklight, touchscreen, more usb ports

So basically 4k and i5 vs 1920x1080 and i7 and touch
I want to go with Acer but idk is the 4k display worth it? The one USB port of the zenbook will be an issue but can be. solved with a hub (annoying to carry tho). I have seen the acer laptop and it looks better than the zenbook (imo). Also heard the zenbook is faster but im not too sure if its true or even if the difference is noticeable. Oh and both at $800 with tax and stuff for me. So which would u guys go with?

Solution
Technically that's more of a "3K" screen (vertical resolution ie. about 3000 vertical liens).

Zenbook is faster? How?
They are similar but the Acer has a faster CPU.

1080p res still looks sharp on a 13.3" screen from normal viewing distance.

I tried to look more at build quality and the Asus Zenbook seems to be a bit BETTER. The Acer seems to suffer hinge and other issues.

*So I'd go with the Zenbook, but set the DPI Scaling to between 125% and 150% (experiment) at 3200x1800.

CPU COMPARISON:
Those CPU's are very similar. They are both dual-core with hyperthreading (2C/4T) so the only main difference is the FREQUENCY which is slightly higher on the i7-7500U.

In real-world usage there should be no obvious difference.

If you absolutely need a laptop this SMALL then fine, but otherwise I'd investigate a 15.6" as they are cheaper, or you can get similar spec's with higher quality build.

ya i need a 13 inch, easier to carry and just take out and use.not really that small when u start using it lol. i though 13 would be too small from me but its perfect

anyways, with the acer more usb ports, and better processor, can upgrade storage by taking off the back and replacing the m.2, and has a touchscreen. Since they are the same price, do u think i should get acer, or just get the zen book? Lol i have no clue which to pick. honestly, the 4k screen of the zen book and what u said about the better build is making me 50/50 on these two laptops.

You obviously do have a "clue" since you specify wants like USB ports, replacing M.2 etc.

There's frankly no more info I can provide. The only real issue with the ACER is how good the quality is and sometimes the initial manufacturing issues are later fixed so it's hard to say.

I think 1920x1080 is just fine for the way this product will be used. Higher resolutions than this are more important with tablets that you hold closer. In fact, DPI scaling can be problematic at times with some programs not working well with say 150% scaling.

BATTERY LIFE is probably quite different as the GPU sucks a lot more power to run that high res screen. It also depends on the battery CAPACITY but i suspect the ACER would last at minimum 30% longer.

The CPU is again not a big deal. I'd be more concerned with the FAN NOISE and I have no information on that. No way to know without having them to compare.
