Which PC speakers?

These are for my PC - to be driven off the motherboard.

I need them for gaming (I don't see this being a big factor though) and listening to music. Sometimes I like to crank the volume up quite high for music, so volume with punchy bass and clarity would be nice.

Budget is around £75 but will go a bit more if it's worth it. I do have some size limitations on my desk, can't remember them though so if any suggestions are too big I'll say!

Currently have my eye on the Logitech Z553 speakers ... is there any better out there?

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your reply!

The 443's look great but I don't think they're available in the uk. You're right about the 623's too, look great but just too pricey!

you can just run them in stereo mode, or just place the surround speakers next to the fronts, they are pretty small speakers.
the z523's are pretty good.

you do not have to run the speakers in surround, you can run them in stereo and have them all working , however if you later on want to play dvd's with surround etc later on you can:)
They do put out a quality sound experience :)
