which sound card suits my system

hi,
my system details are
board : gigabyte g41 combo
speakers : logitech z906
The motherboard has builtin 5.1 channel sound output. Do i need to install a sound card? Does it enhance the sound performance? If so, which sound card best suits me A) if price is not a concern B) if price is concerned? ( processor: Intel Core 2 duo E7500 3GHz ).

I probably wouldn't even buy one so long as your computer has a digital audio out port of some kind that you can hook your speakers in to. Digital audio is digital audio. It doesn't matter if it's coming off the motherboard or a $500 sound card.
