which specs is better?

i m planning to buy a laptop for mid level gaming purpose around rs 37k(in next 2 month).
i've selected two laptop:
spec 1.i3 3120m+hd 8750m+4 gb ram(@1600mhz)
spec 2.i3 3217u+gt 740m+4 gb(@1333mhz)
i'm confuse which one gives better performance in gaming.please gives your views.sorry for bad english.

Spec 1, cpu and memory are all better performers, gpu about the same.

Spec 2 is better, the GPU is newer and higher performance. The CPU is also better. The only downside is the Ram really.

Using your reasoning, the i3 3120m is the better cpu, as she/he will be gaming and 2.5ghz is far better than 1.8ghz and the extra memory speed/bandwidth will also help, especially if gpu will share main memory.

I doubt grvknp would notice the difference in CPU speed. At the end of the day the 740m is the better card so it will give the best performance. But lets not get into an argument.

@marklamarkle i know abt both cpu 3120m>3217u and also gt740m>8750m.
is ram freq. would greatly affect the fps?
i also want to buy spec 2.
@das_stig ur ans is also reasonable towards doubt clearing.both specs have 2gb vram with 128bit interface.i really don't know about how much ram is sharing with both gpu.
