Question which SSD for OS?

Getting a new PC for video editing using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13.0.

I have read a post that describes the author's ideal PC hardware spec where it is stated to put the OS on the 2.5" SSD but my feeling is it should go on the M.2 PCIe SSD. The shop making the PC think it should be on the M.2 SSD also.

Any advice/experience would be appreciated.
