why did my nextbook screen go black

I got a next book area 8 lollipop edition for Christmas. it has been freezing and today I was playing a game and Te screen went black. it keeps making sounds and it wont turn on or off. I took the battery out and put it back but it wont work

buttons wont work I tried taking the battery out and put it back in and charged it and it just makes noise any way I can get help?

If you just got this device, and it is acting up this much, you should be returning it to where it was bought and get them to replace it.
