Why does mirror's edge run so slow?

I've got a PC that should run Mirror's Edge fine with it's current specs. I tested it on http/www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri. But when i run the game it's very laggy and it'll only run sort of properly when i turn all the graphics settings to their lowest, but it still doesn't run flawlessly.

My specs:
AMD A4-5300 3,4 Ghz
8 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7480D

I really want to play this game out of nostalgia, but this isn't what i expected

this game is a console port, and not very good one. it is however a great game if you get 60 fps or more on it, the speed and height makes for a fun experience. an dedicated gpu would help 750 would help you if you got the psu for it.

a geforce 750ti should be cheap,
