Why does my monitor become blank black?

I have a video card that has two hdmi ports. One is connected to the monitor and the other one is connected to a Receiver. The problem is that whenever i turn on my pc and monitor. The monitor will display black screen. It will work only if i turn on my receiver or if i disconnect the hdmi between the video card and receiver. Is there another way to fix this problem?

I have an AMD Radeon RX 480 gpu that supports two HDMi ports. One port is connected to a monitor with HDMI and the other port is connected to the Receiver with the HDMI and the Receiver connects to the T.V with HDMI. The annoy thing is that every time when i turn on my computer and the monitor. The monitor only shows the startup but then it will just becomes blank black. I have to turn on my receiver for my monitor to show anything. Also if my monitor is on and i turn off the receiver the monitor becomes blank black. Other than that everything works fine but this is very annoy. I tested it with different HDMI cable and powering off and on my receiver. But they don't do anything. Is there a way to fix this?
