why does my phone get on and off..and sometimes it say app has stopped what can i do?

Hello am using Samsung j1 ace model number, sm-j110f
Version 4.4.4
My phone just switch it self off and back on....then when i use some apps it just say app has stopped.

SOme phones are too old for some of the newest applications. (Not saying that applies here, but, it could, I will let you research the age of your device)

Certainly, you could try removing apps that dont work and reinstalling them, or, a hard factory reset on the phone.

It could be simply defective, but, you can rule out the 'simple glitches' which can befall many devices.
