Hey people,

i play league of legends a lot but what is annoying me is that my pc runs the game very poorly.
i have to set it at very low and even then i only get 30 fps max the specs of my laptop: AMD A8-6410 quad core 2.0 ghz, 8gb ram DDR3, 1tb HDD and a radeon r5 graphics card. i know that these are not high end specs but they are not the lowest specs either and i think that it should run lol much better (i have all the correct drivers installed and set to max performance)

Solution
LoL isn't that graphically demanding, but it does take a lot of CPU to manage all of the units on the screen and their interactions. Calculating distances between opponents for spell effect and doing the damage calculations is a surprising amount of work.

Not the best discrete GPU ever M355 (Roughly a desktop R7-240), but an okay laptop CPU:

Or an Nvidia alternative 940M, slightly faster than the above, with a slightly lesser CPU:

Or this for $600, even has an 512GB SSD:

Your pc is just to weak for it. This is very low end hardware.

You don't actually have a graphics card, just the APU that is the AMD A8-6410 with the 8GB DDR3 performing double duty as VRAM and System RAM.

Best you can do is try and cool it better, that might keep the clocks a little higher.

Otherwise, if you have some cash to spend, we can make suggestions for a gaming laptop, or at least one with a discrete GPU.

Oh i didn't know this and yhea i am looking for a new laptop but my budget is only 600 $ because i only need it for league and school (i have a ps4) . but i think there are some good laptops for that price that can play league on at least medium with 60fps average. because league isn't realy a very demanding game. what i do find strange tho is that i can play battlefield bad company 2 on medium with 50 fps average on this laptop?
