Question why isn't my laptop turning on

I have an acer aspire 1 and I was watching youtube when it suddenly turned off, i looked to the left and saw that one light was orange and one was blue, i thought it wanted to charge so i left it on charge for about an hour or so then plugged it off and heard a beep sound. I thought it hadn't gotten any/enough charging so i plugged it back it but it still didn't turn on. The orange light is still evident so I searched up some ways to turn on my laptop, tried some, then the orange light turned blue but Its still not turning on, youtube methods aren't working, so I thought I'd try it here. Please help guys.

What exactly are those lights you are talking about? Look up your model and see what they are.

If you connect a monitor to the system does it show you the screen? What YouTube methods are you talking about that you tried?

I'm sorry, i did not see this, the lights I was referring to is the battery light and the light with the light bulb symbol beside it, thank you for the help but I solved it sometime after, I got frustrated and just held down the power button for about 10 seconds until I saw the battery light went out then just clicked it once and it turned back on

When you press the power button, is the charger plugged in?
Also I would not recommend Geek Squad. If you have to go to someone then look into local computer repair shops with good ratings.

Yes, the charger was plugged in.
